As a doula & an ever-becoming guardian of life & mystery, I offer guidance & companionship before, during and after birth to those longing to welcome parenthood as a sacred initiation & a profound rite of passage.
I am commited to reclaiming intuition, self-governance and rooted embodiment in the birth space as a site of liberation.
I guide individuals, couples & families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum & pregnancy loss with ritual, bodywork & presence.
As a companion during such trascendent phases, my accompaniment is relational and intimate, rather than transactional. I make myself available to your specific needs & unique questions.
Tending to the spiritual and ecological dimensions of bringing new life into the world, I am dedicated to guarding the wonder arising at this specific moment in your life.
I offer a space for birthing people to be witnessed in their specific processes and be accompanied with reverence, dignity & love.
My relationship to birthcare is rooted in ancestral afro-indigenous humility, cultural attunement and sacred activism.
WHERE DO I OFFER BIRTHCARE?
I am based by the Grandmother Havel River, north of Berlin. My accompaniment extends into Berlin and all the North of the city.
As I pray for the revival of home births and traditional birthing sites and the removal of architectural and institutional barriers that separate mothers & parents from their support networks, I also assist clinical births, prefering homebirths & Geburthäuser-settings.
I have witnessed medicalized birth environments where people’s preferences are dismissed in favor of “expert” authority. Especially in clinical environments, I offer to be a guardian of sovereignity over how you wish to experience birth, trusting your innate knowing about what feels right for your body and baby.
I believe one of the greatest gifts I can offer as a birthworker is my ever-growing awe and reverence for birth in any environment, honoring it as an ecological, embodied experience that requires community-based care and collective sense-making: you do not need to carry this on your own!

Witnessing the painful commodification of care and the treating of birth as a service transaction rather than a community-supported life event, I hold a prayer for my accompaniment to be an offering, rather than a service to sell
Also commited to interrupting the echoes of unpaid carework, rooted in histories of entitlement & exploitation, I ask for a financial exchange that dialogues with the specific possibilities of each person and/or family.

Honoring the economic barriers that prevent marginalized communities from accessing culturally appropriate care and as a form of deepening my commitment to guarding life while hospicing collapsing systems, I offer my work free of charge or by donation to Black, Indigenous, mothers & parents of the Global Majority.
BIRTHCARE LINEAGES I HOLD
I will be forever grateful for Paula, who wished for my presence at her birth almost a decade ago. My devotion as a doula is a ripple of Uma’s coming into this world.
I was formally introduced into traditional indigenous midwifery by Fundación Mujeres Bachué in 2024, embeded within the Muyska Indigenous Tradition of my maternal line. I continue to learn the depths of this body of work with my beloved mentor Yuli Chiguasuque and deepen my passion & curiosity for free birth with the most inspiring Camalo Gaskin since June ’25.
